Hunting Widow

Well Turkey Day is over.  We had a pretty good get together.  Now I will be able to enjoy a few days alone.  Yes, I said alone.  It's that time of the year when the hills are alive with the sound of rifles & shotguns.  Be careful out there.  Chuck & his buds are in the woods!!!

"Fifth Avenue" by Christopher Smith

Just finished reading "Fifth Avenue" by Christopher Smith. This is Mr. Smith's first novel and he has delivered a real hit. As two families battle it out on "Fifth Avenue" you become aware that this is not just a fight to see who has the biggest or the best, but a deep underlying hatred has built up over years, and something is going to "crash". A real "Whodunit" with lots of intrigue and action within the ranks of high society in New York. The characters come alive in Mr Smith's novel. They are gritty, self-absorbed and somewhat sad. You will find yourself unsure of which family to root for. A "hard to put down novel". Be prepared to "stay up all night" with this one. Find "Fifth Avenue here: http://amzn.to/9lKNd9
